KAROL CABRERA: Hey, Wizards! Today, me and Jocelyn are going to be taking you on a field trip to Camelot Golfland. Sadly, our GOAT Guadalupe couldn’t join us today but shout out to the Lounge for letting us go on the field trip.
GUADALUPE BRITO: Hi guys! Even though I wasn’t able to make it, this field trip sounded like a lot of fun! Be sure to follow the Lounge’s Instagram page to know when future field trips are going to happen. I’ve gone to see the “Red One” through the Lounge, but I know that they’ve gone to Boomers and Knott’s Berry Farm before. Anyway, back to Karol’s and Jocelyn’s adventure!
CABRERA: The next game we’re going to play is ring toss.
BRITO: Ring toss is a simple game where you have rings and you throw them onto small poles. The goal is to make as many rings onto the poles as possible.
JOCELYN DIAZ: Where are the rings?
CABRERA: I think, I think it’s barely getting there.
DIAZ: Oh, I guess.
CABRERA: Look, look! Oh, too pro.
DIAZ: No! Woah, I’m too pro. Is that it?
CABRERA: Oh, is that it? No way.
DIAZ: Is that it?
CABRERA: No way, stop.
DIAZ: Is that it?
CABRERA: That was like.
DIAZ: That was like four.
CABRERA: That’s like, yeah
DIAZ: Five.
CABRERA: That’s like five.
DIAZ: That’s wack, look it still has 16 nuggets, nuggets?
CABRERA: What? Oh wait, there’s one right here! Oh, it’s just in the way.
CABRERA: Oh, okay. I felt like I was scammed. There’s a countdown! What the heck, stop, we were wasting time wondering where the rings were. The next one we’re gonna play is Let’s Bounce so the point is you have to bounce the ball onto these platforms and the amount of times they bounce is the amount of points you get.
DIAZ: Literally too pro.
CABRERA: You have to get all of them?
DIAZ: I don’t know, maybe?
CABRERA: I think so. Bro.
DIAZ: I don’t think it’s touching anything.
CABRERA: There’s a countdown?
DIAZ: I guess. Throw the last one.
CABRERA: Bro, I didn’t get anything. Oh my gosh.
DIAZ: Wait, what did we get? How much? Throw in more balls, oh. How much points?
CABRERA & DIAZ: Oh.
CABRERA: There’s more rounds, oh my gosh. I thought there was only one.
DIAZ: Oh, what the heck, I completely missed.
CABRERA: Stop.
DIAZ: Did you get all the balls?
DIAZ: So how many rounds are there, two?
CABRERA: I guess, maybe? Oh no, there’s another round. Or maybe not. Aw, you won.
DIAZ: Oh wait, you won the first round. I won the second.
CABRERA: Oh! Is that how it works?
CABRERA: The next one that we’re gonna play is Ball Drop. The point of the game is to drop as many balls as you can inside of the… inside of the tubes.
BRITO: I’ve never played Ball Drop before so I searched it up. Basically, you press a button on the arcade game as many times as you can. Each time that you press the button, a ball comes out. Karol and Jocelyn both played this game so they were trying to beat each other and get more balls than the other.
CABRERA: Oh, whoopsies.
DIAZ: Hold on.
CABRERA: Let’s see how many I got.
DIAZ: Got four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven. Why’s it going so fast?
CABRERA: I got.
DIAZ: I got a hot ten tickets, a 100.
CABRERA: I got 30 balls inside so I got ten tickets.
DIAZ: My turn! I’m too pro.
DIAZ: Oh, wait, do I start?
CABRERA: Yeah.
DIAZ: On my soul, I missed like half of them.
CABRERA: Bro, you already missed like a bunch!
DIAZ: Wait, guys.
CABRERA: I thought you were pro.
DIAZ: I am!
CABRERA: Stop, my gosh. You didn’t even get anything.
DIAZ: I dropped all 50, hold on, I’m too pro.
CABRERA: Stop.
DIAZ: How many did you get?
CABRERA: I got 30. I think I’m more pro.
DIAZ: If you think about it the amount of balls I missed, I thought I missed more. I still got ten tickets.
CABRERA: Interesting, interesting.
DIAZ: I still got ten tickets.
BRITO: Anyways guys, I’ll narrate what’s going to happen here. Jocelyn and Karol are going to walk over to Guitar Hero where there’s a guitar and you pick a song. After, you try playing the song as accurately as you can using the guitars. Sadly, the game in Camelot Golfland wasn’t working so they couldn’t play. This is super sad because I wanted to hear their amazing guitar skills.
DIAZ: So it’s not working?
CABRERA: No, hold on.
DIAZ: But it already took credits earlier, no?
CABRERA: Why’s it taking my money, guys?
DIAZ: How many credits? Once you lose all your credits, do you not get anymore?
CABRERA: I guess.
DIAZ: It’s not working.
CABRERA: It took all our money, stop! We’re not playing this, I guess.
DIAZ: Don’t play Guitar Hero, it’s a scam.
CABRERA: Literally, it took all our money.
CABRERA: Hey guys, so the next thing we’re gonna do right now is actually go play Laser Tag which is going to start very soon.
DIAZ: Hello wizards, we’re waiting for the Laser Tag to begin. Pow, oh wait, wrong way.
CABRERA: Stop.
DIAZ: Pow, pow, pow.
DIAZ & CABRERA: What’s that?
DIAZ: Aver turn around, I think it’s that, no?
CABRERA: Don’t, don’t get me there.
DIAZ: Don’t scare me, don’t scare me.
DIAZ: I’m scared.
CABRERA: Me too
DIAZ: It’s a little dark.
CABRERA: They didn’t even spell my name right. They put Karl, my name’s Karol.
DIAZ: I don’t think they heard you.
CABRERA: I think not.
DIAZ: They put mine right, Jocelyn D.
CABRERA: They didn’t even put my last name, they gave up on it.
DIAZ: I’m scared, I don’t like the red.
CABRERA: Stop, me too. It makes me scared.
DIAZ: Of the dark.
WORKER: Alright guys so this is going to be a seven and a half minute game free for all and you have unlimited lives and unlimited ammo. Your objective is to shoot any of the six targets on the vest, there’s four in the front, and two in the back. If you shoot someone, you get 100 points but if you get shot, you lose 75 and your vest turns off for five seconds. Make sure that the red light of the game, the red light of the gun is facing towards you.
DIAZ: Okay. Okay.
WORKER: If you have any questions during the game, you can let me know it and I’ll be inside the arena to help you.
DIAZ: Okay.
WORKER: Just a reminder, there is no running, no jumping, or climbing on the barriers, no sitting or laying down on the ground, or no physical contact. Any questions?
DIAZ: No, no.
WORKER: Alright then, I’ll just scan you guys in.
DIAZ: Okay, for with the wrist bands?
WORKER: Oh, no.
CABRERA: Go!
DIAZ: I think you go that way, I go this way.
CABRERA: Okay, okay, wait.
DIAZ: It’s a little too quiet.
CABRERA: Wait, what is this, oh my gosh.
DIAZ: Wait.
CABRERA: I think that’s the music we were talking about.
DIAZ: Wait, did I get shot?
CABRERA: I think I’m good, I’m still good.
DIAZ: Wait, my thing is off, aver. Wait, how do you shoot?
CABRERA: Oh, I’m too good.
DIAZ: Wait, how do you shoot?
CABRERA: You press the, you press the thing. You press it like half way, no, it’s cause when I shoot you, it turns off five seconds, remember? I think there should be more people here. Why you shooting me so much.
DIAZ: Did you get it? Wait, I don’t even know if I got a point.
CABRERA: If like, if my thing turns off, it’s cause you got like a point, you get me, and then I can’t shoot you.
DIAZ: Aw, I’ma jump you.
CABRERA: Stop, we have to be here seven minutes too.
DIAZ: Aw, you’re getting jumped. On my soul, you’re getting jumped.
CABRERA: What is this?
DIAZ: Did it turn off?
CABRERA: I think you shot me. Stop, I always turn the corner and I expect to see you there but then there’s like a wall.
DIAZ: Me too, oh, I won.
CABRERA: Aw, watch out, watch out.
DIAZ: I hit you.
CABRERA: 29 times and I hit you 14 times. Watch out, watch out, you’re a cheater you cheated.
DIAZ: Oh, I’m too pro, I won.
BRITO: Thank you for joining us on our adventure. Make sure to be on the lookout for our next podcast!
