This article has been delayed and I hope everyone enjoyed their break. I had an amazing spring break and was able to finish buying stuff for my Quinceañera which is next month.
Spring break allows students to take a break from school for a week that is usually around March or April and many students go out to have fun with friends and family. Although spring break does not need to be expensive as there are many ways to have fun without spending too much money. During spring break, students utilize their free time to enjoy themselves with friends by going to the mall, going to the beach, having movie nights, or going on road trips.
It gives many students the chance to start fresh for the next grading period, as students are excited about spring break and have planned to take their minds off school during that week.
Freshman Melany Ramos, shares her thoughts on spring break and what she likes to do during her break.
“I am because it’s a time to hang out with friends and that’s what I like to do,” Ramos said.
Students are looking forward to hanging out and planning activities with their friends. Many of them enjoy spending time with friends from other schools during spring break.
Freshman Karen Cendejas expresses her excitement on spring break.
“I also plan to hang out with my friend at their house for dance practice for her quince which I am very excited about,” Cendejas said.
Having a simple gathering at someone’s house is always something fun to do, especially if it is preparing for something big. Going out with close friends is a popular plan for students during this break.
“Some things I’ll be doing are going out to watch movies and going to the beach, possibly with some of my close friends,” Ramos said.
Hanging out with close friends is usually a priority to many students as some of their close friends do not go to the same school as them or they don’t have any classes with them during school. During spring break they won’t worry whether they have school tomorrow or if there is an assignment due, so they are able to spend time with close friends and family.
“I am going to spend a lot of time with my best friends and family,” Cendejas said.
Many students usually like to catch up with friends during spring break. As students spend their time with friends, they have also made sure to spend their time with their family during this week off.
“I am very excited for spring break, I plan on sleeping in and working out with my mom at home. I have plans to go to the park and go to the pool with my cousins,” Cendejas said.
For many students, spending time with family is important, and many have already made plans. Spring break offers a great opportunity to strengthen family bonds.
Senior Jennifer Villegas, has shared her thoughts on spring break.
“Yes, I plan on spending time with my family,” Villages said.
Planning your spring break is usually not difficult for many students as they can go somewhere simple and fun like the mall, the park, the beach, or a friend’s house. However, there are many students who have planned trips with their families.
Freshman Aileen Perez is thrilled to share her plans for spring break.
“I plan on going to Mexico during spring break to celebrate my quince,” Perez said.
Some students have planned exciting activities like having a quinceañera or traveling somewhere. However, there are also a lot of students who prefer to stay in and watch movies or plan a hang out at someone’s house.
Freshman Michelle Cervantes has shared an insight on what she plans to do during spring break.
“I prefer to stay at home and I plan on sleeping in for most of the break to get my mind off of school,” Cervantes said.
Staying indoors can be a way for students to take a mental break from school or any stress they have. Being able to relax during spring break allows students the time to come back stronger.
Planning for spring break can help you end this grading period off strong. Spring break also gives you the opportunity to get your mind off any stress and come back stronger.
