Mr. Curtis: Exposed
This year, not only did Middle College gain a new principal, but we also got a new teacher who has an interesting background soon to be discovered. His name is Matthew Richard Curtis. He is 29 years old and was born in Modesto, California. He attended Summerville High School and played varsity football, basketball, and baseball. Mr. Curtis attended Vanguard University for his B.A. in Christian Theology and continued his education at UC Riverside and Brandman.
After Mr. Curtis finished school, he taught at Windward Nazarene Academy, Estancia High School, Mission Viejo Christian School, Fulton Middle School, Esqueda Elementary School, and now Middle College High School. Outside of school, Mr. Curtis enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and traveling, and hanging out with his fiance and dog. An interesting fact about Mr. Curtis is that he has backpacked Costa Rica and volunteered at an orphanage in Tanzania.
