ALL: Welcome wizards.
EVELYN CEJA: Hi. I’m Evelyn.
AYLIN PENA: I’m Aylin.
DANIELLA BEDOLLA: And I’m Daniella.
CEJA: and today we’re going to be making banana bread
BEDOLLA: While talking about
CEJA: Thanksgiving
PENA: Christmas
BEDOLLA: And New Year’s.
CEJA: A lot of people have different traditions for the upcoming holidays,
BEDOLLA: that might be unusual,
CEJA: New
PENA: And interesting
CEJA: Banana Bread consists of 15 ingredients.
BEDOLLA: We’re gonna start off by preheating the oven with 350 degrees
PENA: Lets go
CEJA: Thanksgiving is when people like to come together to share what they’re thankful for. And you know, some people partake in like, a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. My family traditions for Thanksgiving, we usually go to the movie theaters and watch whatever movies coming out that year, and just have a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, and play board games and stuff. Okay, so far we have the dry ingredients, which is flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. For Thanksgiving the traditional dinner, me and my mom and my sisters usually make it. In the past, we’ve actually bought from places like restaurants, but recently we have been making homemade things like Turkey and all that stuff, and we usually have mac and cheese, stuffing, biscuits, mashed potatoes, and, of course, the turkey. I hope you have a great Thanksgiving.
PENA: So Christmas is a time where families come together to exchange gifts and celebrate the birth of Jesus. During the holiday season, my family and I always go out to see other homes decorations, and go throughout neighborhoods, taking photos. We also take our pets with us in the car, and we all go on a long ride. And the days leading up to Christmas, we all buy a little Christmas ornament, each one holding a special meaning of that year that we had, and we all decorate the tree together.
BEDOLLA: Now we already included the wet ingredients, which is butter, vanilla, eggs and sour cream.
PENA: Now we’re gonna mash our bananas.
BEDOLLA: New years is a time for new resolutions for the upcoming year and a fresh start. On New Year’s Eve, me and my family get together to eat some yummy food and to reflect on the year that has passed. Some common traditions I do is waiting for the clock to strike 12, hang out and celebrate with family, and to have new resolutions for the new year. Some other traditions I have for the New Year’s is eating 12 grapes under the table and wearing specific colors for good luck and good energy for the New Year’s. I hope everybody has a good New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
PENA: Now we’re going to add our mashed bananas
ALL: Happy holidays, wizards
