SHIRLEY GONZALEZ: Hey guys! Welcome to our Dave’s Hot Chicken Review. My name is Shirley Gonzalez, and I’m here with…
KATELYN ALVAREZ: Katelyn Alvarez.
MAYRA ARTEAGA: Mayra Arteaga.
ANGELA GARCIA: And Angela Garcia.
GONZALEZ: So the point of this video is, we are going to be trying four different flavours, that include…
ARTEAGA: The reaper, the extra hot, hot, and mild. And the mac n cheese, the french fries, mint oreo shake. So we’re going to be trying the mild. This is the hot, and it is hotting.
ALVAREZ: Wait what? I would say I would rate that like a seven out of ten. Cause I feel like it was better with the sauces to be honest, like by itself it was okay, but I liked it better with the sauces.
GARCIA: I think I would give it an eight, I usually get like something not as spicy. But I think this is like a good like level of spice, you know.
ARTEAGA: This is like a number six on the spice maybe a seven, out of seven out of ten.
GONZALEZ: For enjoyment I would say eight, and I would eat this. Spice wise, I feel like it’s a five.
ARTEAGA: Okay, so now we are going to be trying the mild tender.
ALVAREZ: Moving on to the ratings, I think for the mild I would probably rate this like a six out of ten. Like the spiciness was like super low for me, like it didn’t even taste like tapatio to be honest. It’s a lot better with the sauces, so yeah I’d say a six out of ten.
ARTEAGA: I think on spiciness it’s not even a one, so I rate it like a eight out of ten. This is like a chicken tender you would buy to just enjoy it.
GARCIA: Spiciness, for spiciness, like it’s nothing.
GONZALEZ: On spice level it’s like a one, for enjoyment like a seven. Trying the extra hot one, let’s hope for the best.
GARCIA: Let’s hope we survive.
ARTEAGA: When you first bite it, it doesn’t taste spicy.
GARCIA: But I’m feeling it.
ALVAREZ: It tastes evil. But to be honest it’s not as spicy as this one that we had.
GARCIA: Hot?
ALVAREZ: Ooh it’s burning.
GARCIA: Oh it’s got a little kick.
ARTEAGA: This one got a little bit of tears out.
ALVAREZ: Oh, my tongue.
ARTEAGA: Shirley what are you thinking right now?
GONZALEZ: Yeah it’s spicy, but I feel like it’s not bad though.
ALVAREZ: What would you rate it?
GONZALEZ: Enjoyment wise, a seven. I’d eat this, like in a sandwich. I know it’d hurt my stomach afterwards though, spicy wise, probably also like a seven.
ALVAREZ: Um, so based on that like my eyes are tearing up, and like I can’t speak. Probably like a five, or a six.
GONZALEZ: Spicy?
ALVAREZ: Yeah, for me. Like I can’t feel my tongue, or my lips, but like it was good. Would I eat this again? No, but it was good.
ARTEAGA: It’s like a good nine on spicy level. A big fat zero on enjoyment, considering the fact that I’m crying and I feel like so discombobulated, like I’m flashing in and out of consciousness. My eyes are watery, my lips are quivering, all of the above.
ALVAREZ: I feel like I’m gonna pass out.
GARCIA: Okay, for me it’s definitely not the spiciest thing I’ve had. But still, the way that it comes at you, after you already ate it, like that bumps it up a little bit. So on spiciness I give it like an eight. Enjoyment, I feel like I would get it again, but like once every while.
ARTEAGA: Okay, we are going to be trying the reaper, which is like the spiciest one. We actually had to sign a waiver when buying this tender.=
GARCIA: This sounds like a youtube video.
ARTEAGA: It is.
GONZALEZ: It’s that serious.
ARTEAGA: We had to sign a waiver, saying that it can cause death, and other types of stuff.
GARCIA: So I think I’m ready,
GONZALEZ: Me too guys,
ARTEAGA: I’m so scared,
GARCIA: I wanna see what the hype is about.
ALVAREZ: You guys want me to count you down?
GONZALEZ: Oh I’m scared,
ALVAREZ: Okay, okay, three, two, one,
GARCIA: Oh sorry, I’m trying to figure out how I should eat this,
ARTEAGA: Oh my god,
GONZALEZ: Oh she went in for seconds,
ARTEAGAL I feel the sauce, I mean I feel the seasoning, but oh my god,
ALVAREZ: Do you need water? Do you need water?
GARCIA: Oh my god,
ALVAREZ: Do you need water?
ARTEAGA: No I have water,
GARCIA: Oh my god,
ARTEAGA: Oh my god!
GONZALEZ: Don’t touch your face,
ARTEAGA: Okay, oh my god, my tongue is tingling.
GONZALEZ: Imma throw up,
ALVAREZ: Eat mac n cheese, Eat mac n cheese
GONZALEZ: It keeps going, it doesn’t stop.
ARTEAGA: A moment of silence,
GARCIA: May our souls rest in piece,
GONZALEZ: Dude, my tongue is watering so bad.
ALVAREZ: Oh no,
ARTEAGA: I feel like there’s seasoning in my eye,
GARCIA: Oh my god,
ARTEAGA: My boogers are running out of my nose currently. Katelyn you are not missing out on much,
ALVAREZ: Yeah I don’t think I am, you guys are gonna have to rate it, once you’re done.
GARCIA: Oh my god Mayra,
GONZALEZ: Whoever eats that willingly is psychotic.
ARTEAGA: Yeah this is not something you do for, getting full. This is not gonna savor your hunger.
GARCIA: This is not what you do to enjoy a meal. When you’re hungry, you’re not gonna think, oh I want that.
GONZALEZ: I would rate it, experience wise, a zero, spice wise probably like a nine.
ARTEAGA: Right now it went down a bit, but it’s still there. I feel like a lot on the tip of my tongue, and my lips.
GONZALEZ: My whole tongue was salivating.
ARTEAGA: Yeah, I say this is a negative ten experience. A hundred on the spice level.
GARCIA: Zero, would rather die.
GONZALEZ: Feels like we did die.
GARCIA: Rather get hit by a bus, spice ten.
ARTEAGA: There was a few times, like at the beginning of eating that, where I felt like all of my mac n cheese, all of my french fries, all of my chicken tenders were about to come up.
GONZALEZ: So now we are going to be trying the milkshake.
ARTEAGA: Yes, to cool down after whatever this was.
GONZALEZ: Trying the shake, you probably need it more than we do.
ALVAREZ: Yeah.
ARTEAGA: Oh it’s like.
GONZALEZ: Very melted.
ARTEAGA: Very melted, oh.
ALVAREZ: It’s like a mint oreo shake, that’s new yeah.
GARCIA: Is it good?
ARTEAGA: Yeah, yeah.
GARCIA: Mhm,
GONZALEZ: I need to go home.
GARCIA: That’s good.
ARTEAGA: Yeah.
ALVAREZ: It’s good.
GONZALEZ: I really want this, this makes me want a McDonald’s Shamrock shake.
ALVAREZ: Yeah, what would you guys rate it?
GARCIA: Ten.
ARTEAGA: Yeah, ten. So for all for this, it was forty five dollars.
ALVAREZ: Yeah.
ARTEAGA: I would not say it’s worth it, I don’t think four chicken tenders.
GARCIA: No, forty five dollars and your will to live.
ARTEAGA: Yeah and your will to live, and your toilet’s will to live.
GARCIA: Mhm.
ALVAREZ: Yeah this is still all the reaper.
ARTEAGA: This is all of the remaining of the reaper, so yeah.
ALVAREZ: So for this being my first time trying Dave’s I think I would rate it like a solid like 8.5. Like the shake was really good, the fries were really good, the chicken was really good too, like the spice levels, they were like, they were good, they weren’t like either like too spicy but not like not spicy, like you know. They were evened out, I didn’t try the reaper, but given on their experiences I’m kinda glad I didn’t try it. But yeah, so I would rate it like a 8.5.
ARTEAGA: I think this was a six, the reaper was really bad, but the other chicken tenders were good. I can see some of them being enjoyable as like a normal meal. The fries were good, and the mac n cheese was good, and the shake.
GARCIA: The whole thing I give an eight, cause I love Dave’s Hot Chicken, but the reaper no, no never again, and the shake was really good. Yeah, so I like it.
GONZALEZ: Overall I think it’s like a seven. I would try it again, for it being my first time. I’d try it again, I don’t really like tenders cause I always feel like they are really salty. I felt like these were really flavorful, I would like to know, I would like to try the sandwiches, and the other stuff they have.
ALVAREZ, ARTEAGA, GARCIA: Yeah.
GONZALEZ: Like their stuff is flavorful, so I would try it again.
ARTEAGA: Yeah.
ALVAREZ: Yeah.
ARTEAGA: This was forty five dollars, do with that what you will. If you think that’s in your budget and you wanna try it, try it.
GARCIA: Go ahead, try it.
ALVAREZ: Yeah but this was our Dave’s Hot Chicken review.
ALL: Thank you, bye!
